Hi again! It's Hannah. Sorry I haven't written a post in a while; I've been super busy. I've had a totally awesome summer. I've also started 5th grade! I am first going to talk about my two weeks at Zeno. We went to Six Flags, had a bunch of dance parties, played Running Charades, ( I'll tell you about that later) and had an incredible play. The play was called Best Summer Ever, and I felt like it was the best play yet,( even though I still have years to come). Another cool thing is that one of my friends at Zeno, Finnian, is going to swim with me after school!
The best trip of the summer, though, was when I went to visit my cousin, aunt, and uncle in Denver, Colorado. We flew there on a plane, and stayed there for 2 weeks! The first week we went with my aunt, uncle, and cousin to Sand Dunes, Durango, and Ouray, exploring different parts of the southwestern corner of Colorado. The views were amazing, and it was SO much fun! Then for the second week, we headed back to Denver. A few days later, my grandparents came! On our last day, we headed to Manitou Springs to see another friend from Zeno, Emily, who had just moved to Colorado to teach art. All of it was SO amazing!
P.S. Running Charades is basically charades, but when there are teams and someone stands in the middle , and at least 2 people from each team come up to the person in the middle, who tells them a movie, TV show, or song, and the 2 people run back to their team and act out the song, movie, or show, until someone on their team guesses it. Then the person who guessed it runs to the person in the center, who tells them another song, movie, or show and then THEY act it out and etc. The team who gets down the list of songs, movies, or shows FIRST wins.
Thanks for reading, Hannah

thank you!
Hi again! I would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who put a comment on my blog. Thank you so much for all your support! One of the cool things that came out of sharing my blog is learning about this site: A Golden and his Girl. I read Katcha's ( my friend's nickname) blog, and I liked it because she has something for Graham ( her assitance dog ) called a DIY ( stands for Do It Yourself ). It is a grooming bench for Graham. If you check out her blog, there is a lot of things you'll learn about her that is really cool.
I am going to start using my crutches at school. I have been motivated to start using them because I eventually want to use my crutches all day at school. Recently, I taught Mrs. McCormick ( she's my aid ) to help me use my crutches. Right now I am using my crutches at school in the morning to do the sign in and to walk to my desk, but hopefully I can soon use them to walk from math to reading, and before long, all day! I am very excited to get to that point.
We are going to start taking a test called the SBAC tomorrow. I am taking the SBAC on a computer touch screen. See you soon and be sure to watch for my next blog post!:) Hannah

Service Dogs
This post topic will be about service dogs. I would like to have a service dog when I grow up, because they would make a good friend and are very helpful. Service dogs would help me because some things are tricky for me, like opening doors, picking stuff up off the floor and carrying things.
Another benefit of having a service dog would be that they could go places where ordinary dogs couldn't go, like the movies, restaurants, and amusement parks.
Right now, I have a dog named Betsie. She is not a service dog but she is a very lovable and awesome pet. Here is a picture of her:
These are some reasons why I would like a service dog in the future.
love, Hannah
