This post topic will be about service dogs. I would like to have a service dog when I grow up, because they would make a good friend and are very helpful. Service dogs would help me because some things are tricky for me, like opening doors, picking stuff up off the floor and carrying things.
Another benefit of having a service dog would be that they could go places where ordinary dogs couldn't go, like the movies, restaurants, and amusement parks.
Right now, I have a dog named Betsie. She is not a service dog but she is a very lovable and awesome pet. Here is a picture of her:
These are some reasons why I would like a service dog in the future.

That's a great idea Hannah. Service dogs are helpful for some of my patients who don't see well. Some soldiers who have a hard time after coming home from war also can get service dogs.
